Photojournalism is a form of communicating information to the public by using the art of photography. Photojournalism itself can help the reader understand a situation, which they could never place in their minds and so, through photographs, they are given a visual feeling of what the photographer was making an effort to capture.
In order to communicate a message of our own, we had to think of an initial topic which we would present through photographs. Finally, we came to settle on using hands as our focus; a piece of the human canvas which people don't realize how deeply they should value.
In these photographs, we have captured hands of all ages and actions. Each photograph represents a phase, action, and way of life. Thus, hands; the source of life and creation from all aspects.
As you may have noticed, we have altered the original Black&White images taken. We chose to give them more contrast and a purple tint since it gave off a more dramatic outlook, thus manipulating the viewer's outlook... now that's photojournalism...
